Two Bugs in SYD
I saw these two bugs in an overgrown lot behind some houses.. Spoke to the owner and he has dreams of getting these on the road for his sons.. He
hooks them to a battery and turns them over every now and then.. I think he would let them go with a bit of pushing.. I like the yellow one.. The
chrome vent behind the rear side window and the slots in the engine lid??.. Anyone got ideas what model it might be?.. A deluxe?

The yellow one does not look like a Superbug, has non-elephant foot tail lights and a '72 or later engine lid. I would say a '72 or '73 1300 if the
parts are all original.
The blue one does not look like it has the vents behind the rear quarter windows, so it is most probably a '68 to 70 1500.

The yellow one has had a rear-ender at some stage, because the rear beaver panel is from a later model.
