invite for brisbaners CHRISTMAS IN JULY (not vw related)

hey, just thought some of you might be interested in coming along...........to an Icelandic style Christmas Dinner......in (slightly) chilly southern hemisphere winter (the best time to stuff yourself silly on rich foods........somehow christmas in Australia just makes me feel bit ill and i end up vomitting during the afternoon family cricket match..........hmmmm....)

ANYWAY.
for those interested. July 24 @ Sassy's in New Farm. (the best cafe in Brisvegas - sydney st (i think) and owned/operated by the beautiful and delisious Siggi and Krissa who bring a little lovable viking to our river city)

there are SEVEN courses.......!!!!
INCLUDING ------ PLENTY OF SEAFOOD!!!! wahoo!
and my favourite SMOKED LAMB (icelandic style and slow boiled for several hours.......yummmmmmmmmo - i cooked my own for the first time last christmas, much to the joy of my proud Pabbi)

lots of wine, desserts, special warm mead (icelandic style) and plenty of scandinavian cheer from the brisbane icelandic cmommunity.

tickets are kind of expensive (and at this stage i don't even know if i can afford to go....) but definately worth the $95 - the food is awesome and there will be viking-size serves....and as i said....its a 7 course christmas dinner......and a cCOMPLETELY NEW AND EXCITING EXPERIENCE..... (for our dull, car-nerd lives...heheh)

well, let me know if you're interested --- or just go down to Sassy's......any day of any week they are awesome icelanders in the heart of brisbane.............
thorun xx
