It will be turbocharged, 2.2l oxyboxer with autocraft heads, microtech methanol injection, bit of nitrous if required. Id like to have it running
consistent mid eights eventually. It should only weigh 1300lbs or less with me in it. Should hit the track late in the year hopefully. |

Using Trimatic that comes with the car, can be changed to a powerglide easily if required. Wouldnt trust anyone to build the motor except me. I do
like the paradise car but will try to make it look a bit different. Its quite a bit different in the chassis anyway. |

it's real nice to see people doing interesting things with VWs again. The whole scene went anal and boring a few years back. People like you are
opening peoples minds up again.
Keep up the good work.
Spose you'll be racing a eastern creek mostly, right?

Might also add to petes comment about People doing new stuff that There are a heap of cars I hear about in the build just down in wollongong, really
looks like the scene is hotting up. Not sure about my own mind opening effects but it is nice to stir up a bit of enthusiasm. |

vw rail
FANTASIC shifty, this is they way to do it ,mate. What wheel base has the old digger got !Has it got a up to date tech !If you can i would run carbs
befor you go turbo so you get the feel of it .To run in modified class all you have to is run tens .Look forward to here more when start working on
it. BEST thing about a rail is much ezy to work on! Trimatic auto will be real sweat in a lite car .

its only 165inch wheelbase and was only built in '99 so is all up to date as far as the tech side goes. I would like to give it a run NA but the
turbo motor is the only one Ive got so ill probably just start with real low boost and work my way up.
First prority is to get the thing home first though!
Trimatic is supposedly good for 700hp so I cant really see any reson to look at powerglides for now. |
