Mandie.....looks great.
Mine will be going to the bead blasters very soon for the same thing.....(he has a normal roof but-no pop top)
looking good....you must feel great to come this far.
Can you u2u me & let me know how much you paid for the bead blasting...then I can get some quotes happening & have a starting point to go by.
Great work M

Yes blue74l she definetley needs rust repairs.....all the usual places....sills,doglegs,lower front, bottom of cargo doors etc....the inside is really good though only really needs the cab floor both sides.
I have all the repair panels needed as i got them in from Schofields in England, including some rear wheel arches as you can't see them in the photo but someone tried to do something ghastly to them. However i do need to find a spare tyre holder as someone cut mine out as you can just see in the second photo.
The colour i have chosen is purple(as in the new ford purple) on the lower half & white on the upper half with all chrome bumpers etc.......

Shes a little different as she was a panelvan & has had windows cut in to her that aren't quite as big as the original ones.If you look closely in the photos you can see that on the drivers side she also has an extra long window as well. This bothered me a little at first but now i love her even more as it just adds to her individuality!!!!!!:kiss

Judy & Rob, the beadblasting cost $800 & that was for the whole exterior & most of the interior so i was pretty happy with that price.:thumb

Cool....I think I've met him once or twice on cruises...

That beetle roof still looks squarish...hasn't been rolled has it :o...Not to worry...I might need new glasses

How's the canvas on the pop up roof? Are you having to replace it?
