Blasting vs. Sanding vs. Strippers

Any opinions on whether bead blasting is a better way to get old paint off a body than sanding or paint strippers?

I was leaning toward blasting until told that it can distort / damage panels,
not to mention getting all those beads out of those nooks and crannies later.

Not keen on strippers either, due to difficulties in neutralising it later, maybe.

That leaves mechanical means; sanding paint / grinding out any bog.
