Blue dots???

always been a big lover of the blue dots but have never got any for my cars in the past.
which ones are the best- glass or plastic or doesn't it realy matter?
and where is the best spot for them - tail or stop lights?
now I do run the U.S spec tail lights on my sBug (illegal QLD yes?!? but they have been on my car for 3.5 years now and have been pulled over a few times no problems)
.....maybe I could try them in the red indicator??
any way what do you know??

theyre illegal.....i have em ..... glass is better..... to install em take a socket the same size as the actual dot not the bezel, mark the spot to put it and then heat the socket, insert in the correct spot.... makes a clean hole, no cracking, no bullshit..... easy install.... get em from a rod shop, if you hav troubles, johns rod n custom in melb has them

always illegal .... except on Police cars ....

I've only seen them in the tail/stop lamps in Beetles....

My Son has them in his beetle...

it depends where You put them, to how they work...

centre mounted - should show the blue light at a Distance but red up close...

Higher mounted- should show blue light up close and red at a distance...

Too illegal for Me.... I might do many illegal things... but that isn't one of them... they were very popular with Beetle owners many years ago....
I think I saw Classic Vee Dub with them at Valla...
