Hey you engineers, we're not all linguistically challenged! Nor do we wear flannels and blundstones all the time.
Hey Adam, I applied for a course I didn't have the marks for either - although I didn't know that at the time. Via the VTAC system (was that what
it was called?), I missed out on my top two preferences, and got my third. I did that course for a year, did quite well in exams, and then was able
to transfer to the course I had originally had as my number one preference, in my second year. This has meant that it's taken me six years to do a
five year course, but I am certainly glad I changed.
So the idea is, get into something, do well, and change courses.
Sorry I have no idea what the assessors would consider an attractive alternative principle report for physiotherapy... I did Science/Eng, in the end
(and am almost done now, woohhoo)!
Good luck mate,
Aurel

Yep, a mate in WA got into the same school as Physio was offered, but didn't get into that course, so settled for an arts course for a year, and
kicked its bum and then transferred over to Physio.. tough road, sure, but he is there now, and it sounds pretty hard young Adam..
I like the word 'passionate'. "Oh yes, I would love to get into this course/ job/ position/ club/ etc because I am passionate about this topic, and
it is something I find incredibly interesting.."

THE LOWEST WITH THE MOSTEST BLING BLING WINS!!

hey adam.......yes i reckon you will need the art of bullshit to get in (that is in no way a reflection on your abilities, but there are things that
they "want" you to say, and a way of wording it)
my boy friend had to put in "extra" stuff for to get into his course earlier this year, and did a STAT test and then handed in a couple of written
"thingos" outlining his work experience and non-academic qualifications as well as this "i really want to get into this course and i will be
awesome at it becuase......blah blah blah"
i think we got some booklets about it from the actual Qtac office (qld teritary admissions etc) and the staff their were really helpful in telling him
how to write it/what to write.
i'll see if he still has any of the booklets and email you you some stuff...........................if that would be of any help?
.
