kombi front ends


hey
is there any differrance between 72 and 76 model kombi front ends??? i have a 72 front end with adjusters that i would like to put into my 76 kombi i know that the brakes differ a little and i will simply just use a 72 bare beam and fit all 76 things to it??!?

They are the same,

Although the early (I think pre '74 ish) had wider inner bushes, not the roller bearings the ones further in, the later ones were not as wide and it is quiet common to see skragged out arms where they had worn the inner bushes right away.

thanks dave! i know them bushes are a pain is the arse as once there broken there is nothing you can do with the front end!! no one is reproducing them!

i think there is a diference on where the brake booster bolts on aswell. tho not too sure
