random picture taking

i just got snapped by a someone at the queen street intersection while dropping a friend off.
they must have thought the bandage was amusing because otherwise my bug looks like s**t right now:bounce:bounce:bounce

anyone else experienced random people taking happy snaps of their car whilst being in it?:thumb

in the beginning, the universe was created.
this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.

Yeah I have people taking Photos all the time, especially when I go to Torquay. I even had it happen twice on the Hume Hwy last Easter when I went to Sydney. Richard was an half hour behind me in Herbie and he said, one of the same Cars took a photo of him as well.

Most People, only want to look at things that are different.
Lets face it they have had 50 years to look at a Standard Beetle.

Not that I'm knocking standard Beetles ;)

I always get it....Byron has lots of tourists from other countries doing that down here.
I always start chating to many of them as most of them love VW's.
Many are VW club members from overseas clubs.
I spoke to a scottish one the other day & he was doing a diary trip for anything on the VW scene here as he heard its very big here.
He plans on showing all his travel pics at a club meeting when he gets home.
