Changing seat set-up (with pics)

Has anyone done this, I have a dual cab with the bench seat set up (see below) The floor is really rusty and the seats are cactus and need replacing/ recovering.

I prefer the walk through set up from the bus variety (see red photos)

I know that it would require compliancing as it would be changing from a 6 to a 5 seater. The bucket seats that I have are in great nic so economically it is more viable given that I need to replace large sections of the floor at the same time- and my dog would appreciate the walk through as well.

Does anyone have any knowledge in this field ?

Thanks

Peter

I seem to recall reading somewhere that there may be an issue with the structural strength of the kombi. The dual cab barrier holds/supports the kombi in a different way to the walk through way (i think was the case) and so if you want to change it you would have to consider this.. but if your motivated enough ($$$) you can do anything. :D (I also could be wrong)
