Mate I would love to help but I`ve got too much on my plate already. In fact I may be pushing the boundaries of my Marriage to the limit!!
I`ve got to finish my house/garden/garage, finish my In-laws new property in Balhanah, restore my `59 Split and my `73 Crewcab and raise my 2 kids
aswell as taking this Bug on the Ratlook trip.
Sorry!
Maybe ask Dave (57kombi) he`s nearly finished his Splitty and he`s only got 1 Kid!!
Cheers,
Graham.

Well it`s quite easy, I used this thing called Photoshop!
Send me a photo and I`ll lower yours too!
The second photo is only an artists impression of how it will look when I manage to get round to doing it!
Got some Sway-Aways on the way.
Cheers
Gra.

nice rat!
pretty easy to lower an early beetle. Rear you just need to turn around the torsion bars a bit
Lowering the front is harder. you can :
- weld in an adjuster
this requires you take out the beam and strip it, you might as well do the whole front end whilst its all apart
-and or get drop spindles - just swap spindles, they are expensive though and they can move your front wheels out.
Lowering the front on a K&L front end can make handling a bit crap so you'll need to do some fiddling to correct this.
