this is one of two split screens i just bought for restoration.
restoring this 59 for my partner with 2ltr motor out of the bay kombi
& hopefully a porsche 911 in the 2ltr , the second splitscreen has no
motor so i will use the motor out of the 59
yseyesyesyesyes photo is up (now the avatar)
ps winerot is the colour of the 74 kombi above & not what i drink

that so called " 59 " you have is no good.
that one in the pic doesn't appear to have any overhang over the front windscreens.
I bet it doesn't even have an opening rear hatch.
give it to me, I'll fix you up with a '56.

Um 59. I think not. Looks like a barndoor to me. Anything other than a resto would be sacrilige. Plus you would potentially devalue a very valuable
car. And no I am not a purist but that is just too good for anything other than a resto. No bigger motors or anything. Got any more pics of the back
etc?
And one last thing. Can I buy it of ya?:thumb

I stand corrected. That fron twindow does have some over hang. Can't see it in the first pics. Does it have semaphore? How many lid at the back. One
big one or one on the engine and one above.
Still it look early. I would restore.
