bug heater upgrades
here is one way of boasting the stock heater on a bug. i got this way out of a hot vws mag a year or so ago. all you need is 2 bilge blowers avalible
for most boat places for about $50-65 each. you then cut the housing from under the back seat and make some adaptor rings to taper it down to the
housings like such.
heres a comparison between the stock and the modified
bear in mind they are no longer than stock but are missing the tension that holds them together

Any idea what the power rating of the motor is? Are you hooking them up with a separate control switch the turn them up/down.
Ain't nothin' like the wind in your hair.

a lot of air though on full bore though. warmed the whole car up in about 3 minutes

Wish I'd seen that about 7 years ago. Would have been brilliant. On the colder months my hands would quite literally freeze to the steering wheel.
Hmm...I wonder if they would work better than the booster in the 1800/2L vans.
If at first you don't succeed. Build, build again.
