FS: 1500 Beetle *SOLD*
Sold.
Here are the details once again.
1970 1500 Beetle $sold
1641 single port engine (twin port crankcase) balanced
kadron extractors, with heater boxes
009 dizzy
aftermarket cam
lightened flywheel
30 pict 2 carby
stock oil bath air filter
47,000 miles, runs well
re-foamed seats, not vinyl though
good headliner
excellent electrics
cd player (not wired up currently)
Brand new rear shocks!
Near new Dunlop tyres on 14 inch steel rims (stock centres)
Two pretty crap retreaded michelin xz (or zx?) 165s on 15 inch rims.
Should be able to supply two more 15 inch rims too.
Paintwork is mostly very good, but some areas are crap because they have been sanded to bare metal and then primer sprayed over. The passenger side
door sill is rusted out, holes under the battery, behind passenger seat and in driver side rear panel (see pictures for detail). Price reflects the
existence of these problems.

Sorry no reg or rwc.
Is driveable, but needs a new muffler. Brakes work fine.
