wtd. disc brake dropped spindles for split kombi
hey,
a friend is doing a resto on his 58 splitty, and is doing an IRS back and lowered disc brake front.
He is looking to buy a set of king pin dropped spindles and hopefully a wide 5 disc brake kit, but with 2 1/2" drop as opposed to the normal 3 1/2"
drop.
his rim/tyre combo won't allow him to go any more than 2 1/2"
any help would be appreciated. :beer

i dont think you get a choise
i think when you rework the spindles that is how it works out to be you would have to put in adjusters if you want only 2 1/2 " drop

talk to splitbus australia ,or look at posts on leo i think it has dropped spindles and disks using link and king pin set up, but its not wide 5
discs.
otherwise try classic vw(paciffic) they import all those things and are very reasonably priced.
