It wasn't me.
A mate of mine had just restored his J&S and the throttle got stuck open and he plowed through a sand lip which snapped the bonnet and the front of the body and a section of the left front guardwhere the bonnet mounts.

No pics as yet but have video footage of the event :)

My green buggy only showed up today after it went the wrong way and was delivered to a town 45 min from cairns.

Don't anyone ever use Far North car carriers to transport your cars.

Spunoff.
the cars are not mine mate.
I have no pics of the red manx but i will find out who was selling it.
And you can contact twoguns on this forum for info on the purple j&S

I remember seeing an old swb buggy in George penfolds? (i think thats what its called) automotive in georgetown. I don't know if he wanted to get rid of it or not, it has about 6inches of water pooled in it though.
How bad is the damage? Surely its repairable? I can show you the basics of fiberglassing if you want.

Perri Penfolds Automotive at georgetown
Yeah that blue one has been there for years, suprisingly it is still rego'd.
He also has a red one in the yard across the road with a 13B ratary in it. It may be up at Stockton on the 6th for this meet.

He wont part with either of the buggies, infact he is looking for another cheap one so each of his sons can have one each.
