Hi Jay and Grey.
It was pretty awful here in Newcastle today. So we sat around the fire, well actually I fell asleep in front of it and later after stuffing ourselves
with lunch watch a movie.
Was going to take the Dog-O-War for a run up into the the hills today to check on a cache ( http://www.geocaching.com ) but couldn't be bothered going out into the drizzle.
See you all in the chat room sometime.

Phew!
Did a panic briefly. Thought that I'd missed the run to Portsea
Jay what were you doing up so early on a Sunday morning?
I took Bel and Bob the dog down to Port Melbourne to see the new Tassie ferry and have a walk along the beach.
Took a great shot of Bel parked along Beaconfield Parade, it looks like Bob is driving the car or at least ready to take off. He was sitting behind my
seat and watching me eagerly as I was playing around with the camera, most likely thinking of where I might be taking them next
Saw lots of VW's out and about. A nice 60's (one day I might know the years)beetle waiting to board the ferry, and a fairly beat up combi on
St Kilda Road with a huge peace sign on it's side and the other usual 70's stuff
Skewy, didn't see you lined up to board, are you still going to Tassie. Be one of the last to drive on cos you'll be one of the first off.
Not sure if they raise or lower on this one but anyway last group on first off.
Used to get taken to Station Pier as a kid and still get a kick out of seeing the ships.
Driving Bel past a shool today and this cute little boy playing with his friend jumped up excitedly and was pointing at Bel as we passed. He must love
beetles

Forgiven
Had forgotten about the stress until you reminded me Grey
Jay I mustn't have been awake. For some reason I thought I saw a 7.45 am ish time and thought gee you are keen. I am just on another planet
sometimes:o
Hey spoke to my son last night. He's in Ethiopia and says there are heaps of old VW's on the road over there. Also recons that you would be
able to pick up old parts cheap. Lot's also on the road in South Africa, and he says the roads are as good as here in most places.
