Urgent who wants 12 volt heaters

Do You freeze in your VolksWagen in Winter?

I have found some 12 volt 235 watt Car Interior heater fans.
These are used for S.U.V.'s and Trucks to stay warm while the car is not running.
I leave America on Thursday,
If you want one for $70 AUS, tell me now, I can buy them and either post them or stick them in my container to arrive by February, {I doubt anyone needs a heater between now and then}
They can be bolted up neatly under the dash and whalla instant heater fix.
So if you want one, put your hand up now and pay me after I get home.
I got one for Herbie because he doesnt have a heater.
So anyone who wants one, tell me now before I leave for home
They look like this

Cheers Anthony

WOW..... that is pulling 20 watts running.

The largest fuse in a standard box is 16 amps.

If you buy one make sure you wire it up properly.

" .... stay warm while the car is not running. " - hope they have a REAL big battery

I bought one of them off ebay for $40 in Australia already. Maybe check there before you buy any.

Thats correct!!!!
all the trucks and SUVS that use them sadly have burned to the ground as fiery wrecks, its a big problem, someone should do something about this great injustice to the unaware consumer whose car will burn to the ground instantly as soon as they plug it in.

Herbie will no doubt inevietably burn to the ground which is sad after all the time and effort and money I have invested in him.

Jaycar sell em

Not wishing to p*ss on your chips, but Jaycar sell those things for AU$39.95. I bought one, and whilst they sort of work, you need to make sure there are no draughts in your car or you wont notice its even on. Don't expect it to dry your clothes though!

This 12 Volt Heater has 2 heat settings, 150W and 250W, and it can be used simply as a fan, if heating is not required.
It has a cigarette lighter plug for power, but we suggest your cigarette lighter will handle the current draw. It could be easily hard wired. There is an adjustable swivel mounting stand supplied. It can be used for an manner of heating, for a cold caravan, car, defrosting the windscreen, even heating a tent.
Size 175(W) x 140(H) x 115(D) mm excluding mounting bracket.

Thats cool,
Its good to know they are available,
It would be even cooler if at least on one occasion this info came to light in one of the many posts devoted to this excact topic.

At last check they were $145 US on the internet and that was the best anyone could offer.

Cheers Anthony
