squarebacks for sale.

Hello, i have 2 squarebacks for sale. One manual and one auto. I've been threatened with divorce if i don't sell. We have 4 dubs in all and a honda import and a barina. I now understand (i think) the fetish for shoes or handbags....Both cars are registered and roadwordy'd. Am also new to computers so piccys will come soon. In the meantime, checkout http://www.carsales.com.au.  cheers andy brisvegas is my location, prices are negotiable when y'all call 0403903304 or 39020403. as i said , new to computers, and would individually return each and every one of the rule sticklers emails when i get a little more used to how this website works. please be patient or go to carsales for a few more details indy meantime. cheers

Hey all, we are trying to work out how to get piccy's on this site. My other half is the "expert" with the computer, so i am doin my quickest bestess. My mustard (pumpkin), has been my daily driver/work vehicle. I do maintenance work amongst other things so she is very reliable now as opposed to when i acquired her. I have owned her since january . The first money spent was on cutting the only apparent rust spot and replacing with metal front wheel arch stiffener box with holes in it. Ball joints and a couple of oil leaks where rectified for roadworthy.New steering coupling and damper bush was replaced. New konis finally stopped her wandering. She already had new h/d rear shocks. Next came a new clutch, wheel bearings, caliper kits and all pads. A set of new extractors and muffler minimized her fluffing. A new 009 & compufire elec.ignition, and carby kit was next.A compression test confirmed the little smoke she blew, so erwin at phoenix eng. reconditioned her motor. He did a sweeeeeeeet job. The carbs where recond'd by a carby "expert (not!!) and had more trouble than i started. I took her to a great bloke (trevor ) who has a great green bug that he races, and he made her run better than new. A pioneer cd &6*9 spkrs keep her rocking. She has been adorned with some vw deep dish chromys and a wooden sports steering wheel. She came with a DMT approved baby capsule restraint bar fitted and a towbar. She has had rust repaired in one of her rear pillars previous and it hasnt come back. she came with no carpet. I have replaced with 10mm rubber mat, keeps her so much quieter. I have yet to replace her windscreen seal, hence no carpet. She has no rust otherwise. I have even pulled the heater out and checked up inside and nothing. The doorskins are replaced with aluminium as the last fell apart. This little baby sticks like shit to a wedding dress around corners and sits on 70-75 mph no problem to the gold coast every day of the week. As i said she has to be reliable for my work and she is no slouch as well. All reciepts and safety certificate and 6 months new rego is supplied. The reason for selling is i have found my ideal work vehicle, a 1970 kombi ute. I am asking $4500 neg for pumpkin, so please call 0403903304 or email me at oscarjump@hotmail.com . This has taken me ages to one finger type, so details on my auto square will come tomorrow.cheers

Son of Jim, these are my rides. Thankyou for displaying them for me. Some details on "buttercup";.... She was found through word of mouth whilst out on a job. "She has a bit of rust on the roof and something wrong with the gearbox". Maybe parts for pumpkin i thought... till i saw her. My other half instantly liked her and said "thats the colour of the karmen i want when we get one"!!!...What could i do? She had been sitting under a tree for a couple of years and drivers door left open for the pet dog. Linkages and a vacuum line remedied the gearbox problem. New ball joints, ignition switch, rear shocks, carby kits, brake pads and a good tune and run got her roadworthy. A trip up to dj mechanical and a beadblast to bare metal soughted the surface rust on the roof. I have cut and replaced with new metal at the top of the rear pillars both sides. A new rear seal and windscreen seal where replaced. Paint was applied while the screen was out. She has turned out to be too good for parts. I was told that her motor had been reco'd just b4 she sat under the tree. Erwin at phoenix eng'ing confirmed with compression test while she was in for roadworthy. Her interior is original and very good. The only non original item on her are the extractors she came with. She is free of rust and beautiful to drive. She comes with rego and roadworthy. The carpet on the drivers side is a little faded and a couple of small holes in the lining are the only items that need be addressed if one was picky. Whilst at the Byron kombi fest recently, a nice gentleman with an early 1500 injected red notch from the back of the gold coast spoke to my other half and asked how much. We thought we were starting high at 5500 and he shocked me by saying he would pay anything up to 6800 for her. I suppose something is only worth what one is willing to pay for at the end of the day. By the way his notch was beautiful if anyone knows of it. Buttercup welcomes inspections and will not dissapoint. She will go to whoever wants her for whatever she is worth, as i have said earlier, everything is negotiable. I am looking forward to passing the stage of selling these lovely girls and showing you guys my latest addition; a 1970 kombi ute. This is a cool site and look forward to showing my progress with the ute. Once again, thanks for displaying the piccy's and will update soon. cheers
