1970 & 1971 sbug - parts & whole

Sadly, after much deliberation, we have decided to wreck our 1970 beetle. We were going to rebuild, but unfortunately we are not in a position to do this at the mo.....

Damaged right front quarter panel, right front wheel guard, & bonnet. Slight damage to right front door. Damaged front beam. Cracked windscreen.

Almost all other parts available. All in good to excellent condition. This was a great beetle and a good looker - we are sorry to finally decide to say farewell. No visible rust. Floor pan in great condition. All other panels no dents (left door has what I called a 'bullet hole' (some sort of small hole that has been patched with some sort of resin ??).

Gearbox in good (to excellent) condition.

Most interior parts/knobs/bits/trims/things available (apart from some we have snavelled as spares for our new beetle). Low back seats - covers in excellent condition but one back may be wonky due to impact. Back seat perfect condition. Door trims good condition (all brown).

We also have a 71 superbug (which we bought to rebuild the 1970 above - but that was before we found out they don't swap) but want to sell this as a whole. Will sell for parts if no interest in it complete. 1500 engine (which was in 1970) was excellent to us. Please express any interest in this bug (whole or parts) and we will keep you in mind....

Have pics of both beetles that I can email any interested parties....

Is the left front guard of the 71 Super in decent nick? If so I'll take it. If you end up parting it out that is...

I might be in the market soon for an engine, possibly a starter motor too, if you have ideas of price, etc....
