the 1day paint job....
yesterday was the greatest day in the history of VW's......
ok maybe not but it was pretty damn good, Adam_C, Kikko and vw_addict, came round and we got to work on my bus  this is the result or rather after math :P
thanks boys enjoy
this is how it all started....dubs everywhere
some silly poses with kikko
adam getting started cause we were mucking around too much (drinks break 
)
even kikko got in on the action (1st time ever)
and as the afternoon went on.....
the front/ side done....

and how could i forget the whole crew....thanks lads

Ah, over spray it's a great thing. I still remember my first paint job.lol. I'm guessing you parents and mates cars have a nice grey speckled effect
on them.

lol nah they had car covers and theres a secret to getting over spray
off.....it involves putting a secret solution on the windows and rubbers 1st

Dont think ive laughed so much fellas...... as the night dragged on we had pizza and had some fun with "extreme darts" at kikko's factory......

i fixed the rubbers and that today, but that mystery black stufff on them ran on the the paint :cussing
i used prepsol no luck :duh then i used cutting compound but it left a
whiteish mark where i used it......so i think ill give oit a skim with some went n dry....:vader

hey fellas
thansk heaps for the great day! it was awesome all round. tell punk dave i want his mini bike for christmas, and ill be willing to swap my car.
we need to do that more often. drivin a kombi was heaps mad (even tho i couldnt find second gear for a long time). the next planned event is the bbq

hehehe the christmas mist effect was brilliant wasnt it? vaso?? pod its a rat. we ran out of newspaper to cover the windows let alone vaso!
i recommend more forum members meet up for days like we had. it was really great to meet these guys, all of which i met on this forum.

hehehe you know what sucks i got this black cra on it off the rubbers and i cant get it off :cussing so i think ill paint over them bits LMAO
then maybe matt clear it to seal the primer so everything doesnt stick to it
