Engine Conversion (Continued)
hey. the other thread was getting 10 pages long..
too much <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=time&v=56">time</a> to flick through it all..
so here goes,
this may seem as a stupid question but WHERE TO START????
the <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=car&v=56">car</a> will be offf road for 7-8 months doing the conversion.
was thinking maybe this thread could be a step by step thing. so that all other noobs like myself can read along and follow if they like. 
where do i start? wat will be getting done over next 7-8 months is, brakes, suspension, chassis mods .etc.
the engine and tranny will be fitted in as the last thing.
so where do i start???? so many things to do and i am confused. good place to start anyone? i was thinking maybe chassis. but wat should i do to it
first???
the motor to go in will either be a 13bturbo (if legal) or an ej20t.

If you want a step-by-step guide of an engine conversion then read my website;

I would suggest your better off making a website then trying to write an 8 months story on an internet forum. It will be much more readable.

as i have NO idea how to make one  ..

i mean. i dont expect someone to accept as it is of no gain to them

This is my first site, I just signed up and started trying stuff. I sucked but I learnt and my current site isn't so bad;

There's heaps of guys here with free sites. Most people are learning but have a go at it.
Pete Wood's site is another good site, about his EJ25 buggy build. It's nothing fancy but it's free and he did it himself.

hey 71,
thought you might like a tip. Go to yahoo geocities and get a free site. They teach how to build one too with online help.
Also this book is really helpful. My bro gave it to me for Christmas when he was sick of answering my quwestions all the time.
D.Oliver "SAMS Teach yourself HTML4 in 24hours!."
Should be cheapish ($30) and it teaches you to make a website by doing exercises to make one. Once you've done one you can do it much quicker.
