Surface rust on the under outside ov da floorpan

Guys I have noticed that that under my fasty the floor pan has some surface rust. It really is just superficial surface so I want to deal with it now.

Can I paint POR15 straight on without preparing the under floorpan as it is hard to get to. Will POR15 be effective long term??

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Pat

If it has surface rust, you have to treat it with the surface prep stuff from POR15, then you paint the POR15 paint, the instructions state you must prep it first.
Check the web for their site, do a seach and that should help.

I have used POR15 but have sprayed it straight on to blasted clean metal,,
Great stuff.

Cheers
Dave
