seeking VW mechanic in N. Qld
Hey volks,
Does anyone know of any good mechanics in northern Queensland?
Limping in to Townsville on our '76kombi roadtrip at the moment, and it sounds and feels like one of our valves isn't pulling its weight. We'd the
same problem when we arrived in Darwin, but got a re-con job on one of the heads. She was running a treat. We'd been taking it easy, but today she
started making slappy revs, drinking engine oil, and loosing power.
We're distraught, but want to do the right thing by the van (and get to Sydney!). If anyone knows any good reliable VW mechanics in Townsville,
Cairns, or this neck of the woods, that doesn't eat travellers for breakfast, please PLEASE let me know.
