1954 beetle
Due to the overseas buyer going cold on the deal when he found out the shipping costs, my 1954 beetle is up for sale again.
It's in original unrestored condition.
Needs a little welding in a couple of areas.
has a re-cond 36hp engine, and also comes with the original matching number case.
has correct year headlight lenses, correct engine lid, and correct bonnet for 1954 model.
of course it has heart tail lights, clunker doors, and semaphores.
interior is a bit tatty, but not unuseable, and by no means unrestoreable. they are the correct 1954 seats, as 1955 on seats are different.
Has fresh powdercoated rims, with atlas inserts on Michelin XZX's thad have done no more than 200km.
the floor pan is in good condition, and only needs a clean up.
the door pillars are solid, and need only minor repair.
the bonnet has a bit of rust in it that would require work.
the panel behind the drivers door is starting to bubble, and would require attention soon.
other than that, it is a complete, driving, original, rare and desirable car.
the car is located in Adelaide.
the price is $5000 or very near offer.
my contact details are in my profile.
thanks, Daniel.

that's right.
$5000 for the taillights may seem pricey to some.

Yes then he will just sell one of the wheels and if you ask nice he will just cut the rear window section out so you can weld it into your
superbug!!!!
Sorry but some people have no idea.
Cheers
Dave
