correct oil level to be at
Hi, I put some oil in my 1500 engine as it was just right on the add oil level mark, now I think i have put too much in as its right up the last mark
on the dipstick which I think is the full mark. In the idiots guide to VW's it says dont put too much in or it will blow the crankcase or
something?
Should I let some out?
Thanks

if you have too much oil it will push past the oil seals and leak ...
so drain it and re fill with 2.5 litres no more no less
