Karmen,
I think post 1980 Vanagons (Kombies Bus, caravelle, transporter etc etc) came in diesel models, being 1600 diesels same as the golf 1600 engine but
wuth different sump.
No gti sorry, I just wish it was. I love the diesel engine though - so basically i'm trying to create a 4-door diesel glof that handles like a gti
and has better than ordinary looks.....lol
the only thing better than a new VW is an old VW! ;-) :-D
