yeh, love the pistriping.
I guess she is pretty light so a 1641 would go great. They didn't make you get a rollover bar?

There's no legal requirements or anything for a roll bar. We will fit one in the future, its a tricky one though, cos of the shape and rake of the
screen, its gotta look right! A roll bar would also mean w could get a hood made up for it!
Its really stable,, with that fat rear end and the low centre of gravity! the 1641 is pretty stock, and pulls strong with the 1300 gearbox, and
surprises quite a few people! The tyres(275/60/15) and box combined means it runs out of steam at about 90mph! (And thats enough with the wind in your
hair/ears/eyes/etc! )

totally retro, love it.
guess there are a few months where it wouldn't get driven much eh?
My in laws and wife are poms (limies, brits etc) and we were over there in....aw gee too long ago now. It was january. I thought it was cold over here
in July in my buggy, but man, you would literally freeze over there in winter!
Bet you can't wait to get the bar sorted and put a top on it. Much more weather friendly.
p.s. really loved England though, wouldn't mind living there...not sure about the rust issues though

i rekon the bounty hunter shape rules too. a manx might be the original but the bounty hunters add a little style as well.

Dude!
E and Soph drive the buggy ALL year round!!!!:duh It's not unusual
for them to turn up at our local cruise meets in the wintermonths, soaking wet, to spontaneous rounds of applause, after all as they say there's
plenty of fiberglass that won't rust!!!!!!!! Having said that, they also drive the '64 all year round too!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys! As Crazydaze says it does get used all year round....albeit
with full on snowboarding gear on during the winter months! You cant beat those crisp, sunny winter mornings for a blast round the local downs and
through the woods! (its usually quieter too! )
Rust issues keep me in a job, dont knock it!:blush
Pete, if ever you come back over, shout n we'll hook you up for a spin in the buggy! Alex will tell ya, it does about 500 smiles per
hour!:duh:thumb
I had this done for Sophie's birthday a few years ago!

That's a cool buggy. Nice work.
I like bounty hunters. It would be cool if we had some down here in Oz. I'd have one.
They are my second favorite buggies. My favorite is still the Manx.
