Finished...................
It was only off the road for 5 weeks, cost $3800 for the complete conversion, engineered first go, is as quiet as my Holden Vectra & goes like
stink & I did it all myself.
Bliss.

I will be the first to say - schweet !
Well done, and congratulations. Bet you havent wiped the smile off your face yet !
Let me know if you ever consider selling it... I mean, I'd have to paint it red I guess, but its got potential.......
Bloody Fantastic.
Hows about an action shot ? Maybe hanging the rear end out at about 6000rpm in second, with big clouds of white smoke off the rears ?

i've gotta say well done! i don't think many people out there could carry out such a conversion in that timeframe and for that cost!
i personally think it looks a whole lot better without the wing too....
great stuff!

Beautiful Jak.
I'd like to see an engine shot too, and definately leave the wing off! (just my opinion of course)
I will start my conversion after new year - i also am hoping to have my vehicle off the road for a very short time. You have set a benchmark. Well
done.
Andy.

It was just an air lock Dave, took the header tank cap off, started it up & watched the water disappear, added 2.5 litres & it's been sweet
since. Ended up being pretty simple.

Well done Jak....Glad to see the wing has gone....Car looks much more agressive like this (IMHO) ;-}
As for the next engine....
All the HiPo WRX guys here in Perth are buying twin turbo front cuts and sticking the EJ20T intake and single turbo stuff on them....
Apparently the Twin turbo engine is a much stronger donk.....
But the US spec EJ25T is looking like nice combo....Way better than Turboing a local 2.5 too.

Just using the standard box, I don't do drag racing so I think that it should be fine if respected for awhile...........
Brakes are type 3 front rotors, cross drilled with type 4 calipers, the rears are DBA cross drilled rotors with Ford Falcon calipers &
brackets.
Yes Alex, the wing is gone, want to buy it?

Hey Jak,
You are an inspiration to all of us just starting out on our EJ20T conversions. Would really appreciate any hints, tips, advice you could offer. Car
looks awesome and I'm so glad you've lost the wing. A fw more shots would be great. By the way, when yousaid that you kept the standard box, which
box exactly is that?? What about gear and diff ratios??
Cheers mate,
Mike.

Hi Jak
I forgot ask, did you keep the low ratio box or did you put the stock super one back in? How are you finding the ratios?
