a couple of WA pics
Here's a couple from Barbagllo Raceway in Perth. Yes one's not exactly a VW but it's close enough

Nice wheel choice.
Good picture. The beetle driver looks like he's having a red hot go.
The front tyre looks like it's doing a lot of work. The back end looks like it will kick out as the inside rear unweights itself. Perhaps there's
even a bit of opposite lock there already.
Whatever the case it looks like there's a fair bit of G-force there being helped along by the banked turn.
I get excited looking at that and I can't wait to get my car back on the track. I've just got ot rebuild the front suspension, the engine, remount
the oil cooler, finish the tow hooks, reposition the tacho and give it a polish.
Any more information on this car and the driver?
Good to see another circuit racing beetle yeee hah.

That shot was during 2003. I always wondered where the beetle went to and then it turned up in the pit lane again last weekend. I couldn't find the
driver but a few of the guys have emailed me for shots from the race day so perhaps he will contact me soon. I'll let him know about the forum.
