Kombi parts wanted
Greetings all.
I've just pulled my 1800 motor from my kombi and I've go a 2L to fit in it's place. However I didn't realise at the time that the gear box was
different and that one of the heat exchanges had corroded through.
So I have a shopping list any a (small) pile of money.
2L Gearbox bell housing
2L Starter motor
2L Spegot shaft
Left hand side 1800 header box (I'm told it's 1800 because the OD is 37.5mm)
So if anyone has any of the above or can point me at a source I'd have a happier Christmas and a running motor.
Cheers
Pavel

ahve you thought about fitting your 1800 flywheel to the 2ltr ,then it will fit in the 1800 g/box....
just a thought and might save ya some cash
you should be able to find a heater box local but if not i can post one up...
if you do change the fly wheel be sure to set up the end float correctly
cheers stu

Using the 1800 flywheel sounds a great fall back plan, I've already bought a 2L clutch kit and had the flywheel resurfed, but cost is always a
factor.
I'll get back to you regarding the header box, if Vintage, or anyone else locally, can't supply.
Cheers

Sorted.
CBB supplied a pair of heater boxes, in great condition, and I've swapped the 2L fly wheel and cluth for a 1800.
Cheers for you assist stu.
