Someone spent $200,000+ too much...
Well this is a Porsche Cayenne Turbo bogged at the Freshwater track at Double Island Point. We had to give him a hand so we could get back to camp.
And we drove the same line as him with 2wd Kombi's........LOL
He said he wouldnt let his tyre pressures down cos he was trading it in next week.......

Hmmm, spent $200,000 on a 4WD thinking it was going to do all the work for him. Should have bargained with the dealer to include an advanced off-road
course when he bought it, which would be less embarrasing than needing to ask for help.
As for the tyre pressures, he obviously isn't aware that the air in his tyres is free, and letting some loose would save a heap of wear and tear on
the car. Bit of false economy there... Unless he's running some advanced helium/xenon mix... LOL I mean, what's the realistic trade in figure on
second hand air out of your tyres?

Hehehe. Always a laugh.
Other than the beetle i occasionally drive a 2003 model Rav4 toyota with the new 2.4 litre motor and its a heap of fun. $30k on the road and even it
can handle sand and mud.
No low range makes things a bit hard at times. Tried to tow a fairly hefty tree limb off a fence line so a fence could be repaired. Had all 4 wheels
spinnin on the spot. Looked awesome. Goes to show u dont need to spend 200,000 to have some fun!

I wonder if he did the same thing that Craig Hughes did when they first took the Cayenne onto Fraser? Good article too Craig - made lots of sense.
Apprently there's some button that has to be pressed else the brakes lock up - instant bog.
RTFM.

i remember couple of years back down at stockton, there was 23 bmw x5's bogged on the track in. some bogged to the sills. funniest was watching one
lady sipping wine, sitting in plush leather, windows up, air con on, bling flashing, buried to the sills watching frantically to be sure i didnt
scratch her husbands new 120000 dollar toy, as i squeezed the buggy past with two wheels in the track and two up the embankment in the bush.

The one Craig took onto Fraser was the VW Touareg, not sure if the running gear is the same on the Porsche, but it doesnt matter when the driver has 2
accelerator settings......idle and full boost at about 8000rpm.....farking idiot
