i own a 68 baja convertible i bought it a week ago.soon to be lifted and bigger tyres hope fully.will post pics later.

Does it have the box section steel under the chassis to strengthen it for the roof chop? If so, you should find out from an engineer if you can ditch that and run a 2 or 3 inch lift kit between the chassis and body to give you some extra ground clearance as well as more clearance for the tyres.

i cant come and play moose i ve gotta get rear main seal leak fixed its leaving a nasty puddle.plus it realy could do with a lift which is next on the shopping list.

11cab has no box section underneath so lift will have to wait.

my mistake it has box section and rollbar goes through to floor and all transport aproved and regestered as convertible.been speeking to volk spares and repairs in freo about lift cause he did it to his only thing now is the money
