6" Rims on a squareback?
Hey all,
Is anyone else running 6" wide rims on a lowered squareback?
Has this caused any issues for anyone?
Cheers

Hay Im running 14 x 7 inch wheels with 195/65 14 they look shithouse and the rears stickout from the gards so lowering is no go. the front could come
down but I would realy wont to run 15 inch rims the same as Gibbo.
Ive done a search but came up with nothing can anyone shed some more light on the subject.
Cheers Nige:thumb

hehehe offset...:P dont know sorry, my rims however are vw stamped..and they came with the car...so i assumed that they might be an optional
extra...
hey nige...dunno what brand rims u running but it sticks out cus its an extra inch wider than what we're talkin...i got lower profiles on mine...but
even if i had the 60's it would clear...unless i went offroad.or hit a mass pothole at speed,

I had those 6" mags on the squareback before, but the rears were in line with the bodywork, so If I had lowered it they would have rubbed and rested
on the guards.
Hmmm, is that the offset thing that Andy mentioned?
