A 36 hp engine is a 1200 or 1192cc generator stand is part of the block.
40hp engine is also 1200cc but the generator stand bolts off.
25hp engine is the 1100 engine that every one gets mixed up with the 36er, not many of those around.

1960 model of course....
Yes Dan,
1960 models were made between oct 1st 1959 & 30th july 1960.. then the 1960 1/2 model from the 1st August 1960...
Engine and serial numbers both compute....
chassis number 2983906 was made on 31st march 1960
chassis number 3083907 was made on 17th May 1960
so yours is between these two dates.
it shouldn't have a steering damper as these were added at chassis number 3083907..
engine horsepower was 36hp [SAE] or 30hp [DIN] with a compression ratio of 6.6-1
the cooling fan should only have 16 blades...
Engine was 1192cc engine ...
Generator stand was part of engine block..
in August 1st 1960 - push button door handles and blinkers appeared along with many other features.. padded sun visors - dished steering wheel - full
synchro gearbox and push on electrical connectors.. Solex PICT 28 with auto choke... to name a few... tail lamps for 60 1/2 & 61 only in
Australia & Italy.... very rare these days...
this model was called the 1960 1/2 model.
My father had one...
so Yours should have trafficators instead of blinkers, a flat steering wheel and pull out exterior door handles along with a choke cable....
Lee
