No engine specs???????

Whats the engine that comes with it????
What do you mean sell as a roller, does this price not include the engine.
If not then its not the fastest vw is it???

Roller Means No engine. Will fit any VW style motor.
If you want the engine as well talk to rod about price.
Engine is a 2.8 autocraft with t72 turbo and Nitrous.

Not trying to be funny but, how can you advertise Australias fastest vw for sale, when it is just a body,
without the engine it is not the fastest vw is it. More like the slowest.

So add 20 odd grand of engine and another Super Sedan racer is in the ranks for less than 40k. Pretty cheap entry into Group 3/4 racing.

I have a whole series of that wheelstand Sean. I'm glad I was on the "wrong" side of the track for that run!

that's great value for a chassis that you know is good for eights. And he's already done all the hard work chopping and modding it.
How much is an autocraft engine?

Well I'd run either a supercharged or turbo'd 1916 with aluminium case and good heads,Stan's 2-plug ignition and I'd reckon that would be a good setup to run in Rod's car!
Nice and cheap to run and maintain, fairly quick and I'd paint it Black with heaps of clear!!!!!!

If it was me buying the car i would set it up to run high nines all day long reliably and 400hp would be all that you need. Seriously, car is excellent value. would cost a lot more to build yourself.

Not so much as a tip, but a shit stir.

Mind you that sort of engine would easily cost between 30 and 50K not to mention the cost in time getting the bastard to run right, look at that guy here in NSW with the metalic grey drag car at the VW nats last year, people in his crew swore that it would do 8's off the trailer, and he couldn"t get it down the strip.

to be fair, I think it is more than capable of 8s, and they were only certification runs. his real issue was chronic wheelspin everytime the car came on boost. That was on low boost too. he was sent home coz he crossed the centre line. He doesn't even know how much power it's making coz it wheelspins on the dyno.

I spoke to him afterwards. His shocks were too short and every time the car came on boost, the back axles squatted, went into negative camber and the car lost it's tyre footprint, hence the wheelspin. He was waiting on a set of shocks from Ron Lummus Racing in the states.
