Spark Plugs
I know I'm being lazy but I need to get a set of spark plugs this afternoon for my 2L bay and I didn't look up the type I needed this morning.
What type/model of plugs should I run a 2L bay on?

Any VW shop will have them in stock....
usually BERU BOSCH or NGK are used in VWs...
You should also use antiseize on the threads of the spark plugs to make it easier for them to be removed as the two dissimilar metals expand &
caontract at different temps....
It could save You a head also as the thread can get wrecked.
Don't buy Bosch plugs unless they are made in Germany....
Beru & NGK are excellent plugs....
I don't recommend You put champion plugs in anything but Your lawn mower....

i would recomend ngk irridum plugs, littel more costly, but they last for ages and helped stopped my engine from fouling the plugs
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

NGK B5ES or colder B6ES
Bosch W8CC or colder W7CC
Unfortunately there is no NGK iridium plug for this engine.
Pull the old plugs out and see which heat range you have, and if you need to change.

use anti seize on the threads.

i use what ever the old man has on his shelf at the time. ive run the t3 or t4 ones in a bug at one stage ran great
