how do i seal primer if not painting 4 a while
im planning to fix my small rust and dent areas and want to seal them from rust but wont be painting for a while being my daily driver i want to do a
panel at a time and when im ready ill paint it all together but want to seal it from the elements after ive sprayed primer over my fixed areas?

there is no real way to truly seal primers. They do draw in moisture unless they have paint over them. now its a long process and people will tell
you different on now long you can go. it all depends on how wet the car will get over time.. myself i will not prime a car and leave it but i paint
for a living so its much easier for me to do so. i have had people in the past get me to repair and prime then 6+months later paint and have not had
any problems at all.
my advice is if your going to prime and leave it for a period of time, when you come to painting it dry the panel out with infa red lamps as they
dry from the inside out and will draw moisture out.This way is not the perfect solution but the best if your going down that road.
as i said different people will tell u different things and i am sure plenty will tell you they primed their cars and painted them ages later with no
problems.

youre talking about the beastie sc, so why not jsut get yourself some pressure pack green. patch paint the fixed areas, and then when youre ready to
paint, give em a light sand back. wont hurt.

take off the fuel cap cover, and take it down to be matched if you wanna get real close.

If you want the primer look, you can use 2pac epoxy primer, this is very good primer and doesnt absorb moisture like normal primers.
I would go the can of colour matched paint and just use that.
