Something worth checking!
Turns out the reason the car was only firing on 3 cylinders was an actual short in the existing loom that we wired into.
Should have used new wires all the way to all the plugs and sensors, which is what we are doing tonight.
Problem was that when we isolated the short and ran an earth wire to the plug, it blew all ignition outputs in the microtech. $100 later it is fixed,
although the thought of a new computer was a cost and headache I did not need.
Live and learn..... All new wires kids!

We had one here Matt that had a short in the air meter , it would not run correct , blowing black smoke all the time , I drained the oil and found
aprox 2ltrs of fuel in the sump !
it sure cleaned the bottom end !
The car we removed the motor from had a hit in the side all looked good on the out side of the lome, the only way we found it was to pinch the cable
with a set of plyers .
Looking for that special lady : PM me for coffee & cake
