Bajas are for those who are scared they will melt if they get wet. And OH for those who have wives/girlfriends/significant others, that will not LET
them have a buggy.

buggies are for people having a mid-life crisis who feel the need to feel the wind in their hair while they've still got some.
In traffic a buggy has all the disadvantages of a motorbike - no luggage capacity, you get wet, you get cold, you get hot, you get sunburnt, if you
hit a landcruiser your probably going under it.
But they have none of the motorbike advantages. Instead they have the disadvantages of a car, slow (relative to a motorbike), crap economy (again
relative to a bike), can't split traffic, can't park for free in the city etc.
Me, I'd rather have my motorbike and my Baja.
As for the buggy being for the Sheila up the road, I reckon my Baja gets more attention from the girls than any buggy would

Have the same noise comming from any buggy and anyone will look.
I don't know why every one has so much trouble with space in a buggy. I can pack more into my buggy than into my beetle without sacrificing
comfort.
I don't get burnt. i have a hardtop on mine, and i still get the wind in my hair:P

I HATE rust.
Buggies don't rust
(Buggy still has metal floorpan but heaps less hidden rust-friendly spots. Most Bajas rust in the body like doors and pillars not the floorpan /
suspension)

Baja's are more versatile. I'll bet that there are more baja's being used as daily drivers (when mine's running it is...) than buggies.

Interesting Boozer.
We have 11 buggies used as daily or every second day drivers within 20mins from each other.
we only have 3 baja's soon to be 4

For andy why do i need to beat one went i can just drive over one and i dont have to go down the fiberglass shop the next day and get a new body for
me or the car. As for the landcruiser well ah lets just say each to his own hay.
And if anyone wants to start a fight some just say somthing about air first water but dont as we are all fighting for the same side here.
And wes that about nails it if you want to get wet and dirty pull the bike out of the shed if not jump in the baja
