ADR,s in VIC
In Vic their aligning ADR,s with other states this is a problem because we could use any motor in reason in any car and didn,t have a vehicle weight
to CC size ratio as long as the braking was up to standed as well as chassis strength you get my drift. My project consist of a 56 body,74 pan , mits
L300 front end, complete 944 rear end,915 box, honda nsx brakes and a ej20t motor because I,m using a late model motor I have to use the orignal ecu
,the pan with body has to go through a torsion test and now I might have to comply with 2005 adrs as a kit car due to the chassis mods. The thing is if
I build a EFI Turbocharged type 4 I don,t have to do half the test, don,t figure the engineer I,m using is very helpful and even for him it,s hard to
advise until vic roads get their act together. So if you doing an engine conversion don,t waste time and get on the books.
