Knowing Australian Volkswagens, written by Phill Matthews and Dave Long, not Phils brother
now out of print, I saw a copy on Ebay a few months ago, went for $120.00 ish!!!

Rhys

It wasnt with his brother it was with another guy, Dave Long ......

but no doubt Phils brother Simon did have some input.

Yep they go on Ebay for about $100 plus.... if you can find one.

Rhys - would you contemplate the new book "Volkswagen in Australia - the Forgotten Story" as an alternative?
Its only just come out. Beautiful pictures as well as HEAPS of information.

(btw I have Phil's book - didn't realise it was worth so much! Sorry, not interested in selling it though)

I have to agree with Jay on this.... Volkswagen in Australia - the Forgotten Story.

Colour photo's compared to black and white, i know what i would choose, plus it's cheaper, hard cover, in a VW parts box, and has some of the best phot's and info on Australian Volkswagens around. Not bagging phils book, but just stating the facts man when you compare both books.
