ill have to try that one. i usually pretend to take a pulse and look serious.
if that doesnt work, just scare the crap out of them with a really loud unexpected yell of the word balls. works a treat

20ml of straight red cordial works every time.

My mrs swears by it. I have had freinds over and they have had the hiccups and she has given them a shot of red cordial and it has worked everytime instantly. None of them can believe how quickly it works.

I have tryed it at least a dozen times and it has worked everytime.

"GO THE RED CORDIAL!"

oh yeah...give my kids red cordial... r u crazy??

They'd be up the walls for hours....

Now with green I have half a chance of a conversation afterwards that is not made at 1000words per minute..

But since I make it a habit NOT have cordial in my house (any color sends them hypo really) I guess I'm stuck with the hiccups

ok so these are a bit random...but they work...

1. soak a teaspoon of sugar with vinegar. sounds gross hey...but thats wat probably makes u forgot about the hiccups...

2. drink a glass of water through a tissue...sounds obscure, but this one also works for some reason. careful not to drink too fast tho...or u will inhale the tissue.

thanks for the red cordial thing tho...i mite try that next time....

My best mate had the hiccups real bad one day as I was leaving his place, and I tried (mock) ramming him with the bullbar, then blasting the "freight train" horns at point blank range. He didn't even flinch at either attempt and still had the hiccups so bad he could hardly talk.

Then as I was driving out, I suggested I'd send one of my ex girlfriends round (she's always overly horny) and he snapped bolt upright and the hiccups disappeared instantly. He hasn't had female company for a while and when I thought about it, I really did know how to frighten him... LOL
