My first VW

Well here it is my first VW after a long foray with American vehicles I have moved on. This baby was found by another member (stennguns) living a lonely life in western Melbourne as a pump shed. Amazingly not a lot of rust and quite repairable. Missing a few peices but I know some fellow members will help me along the way. I must thank Rob and Charles for their help and Roy from Classicvw(Pacific) for his advice and parts help. I will post more photos as time goes on.
Cheers Paul

Doesnt look too bad.

Someone once told me, do a little bit every day and it will get finished, I wish I had taken notice as I didnt and it took me 3 and a half years but it was well worth it.

Cheers

Just to let you know.. Bussboy may be new to VW's but he is no novice with car restorations.. As he has worked on US cars, he will know a thing or two about metal! .. Good luck mate.. Take plenty of pix..

Congrats and all the best for the long haul ahead !

She looks like she is jumping for joy with finally finding a new home !

Or maybe she has one of those slick Mexican suspension things fitted ??????? You know the ones that make the cars go bounce bounce ?:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce
