So is any one else going now that the nationals drags have been cancelled?

thats not very nice sax.... I was thinking of entering my cabriolet in the glow off as it is fitted with undercarriage neons , LED washer nozzles and
new neon valve caps that light up when wheel is rotating . sorry you feel this way , as I see it as just another FUN way to show off you car !! If you
attend , I hope you enjoy the show and appreciate the effort others go to , to show off their cars for you .:beer

I was directing my ridicule at the plastic cars that have the neons, you know the type that you see around bankstown.
On a dub anything is acceptable.
Thought neons were illegal anyway

Seriously though, once upon a time we went to car (and bike) shows to see
the engineering and painting excellence, not to see how many decibels and candlepower can be squeezed out of a car.
I meant no disrespect to the true car lovers.

NEONS
it is true that it is not illegal to fit neons and other coloured lights to your car and the RTA & POLICE cannot defect you for doing this ,
however , it is illegal to have them turned on whilst driving on a public road and if caught heavy fines are in place . I speak from experience as I
was pulled over and fined $79.00 just 5 weeks ago ( by a young arragant moron) whilst cruising with the wife and kids in the cabrio . I had the neons
turned off , no neon valve caps fitted , just the 2 green LED washer nozzles .(which I couldn't turn off as they were hard-wired to the parklamp
system ) this has now been changed .:tree

Wayne, I can clearly see how awful those small green lights
must be to oncoming drivers.:sandrine
It must have been terrifying to the Cop.! I'm sure glad
he was out looking for this Terrible Crime and not
policing the trouble spots where all the Real Hooligans
go.
* Really what is so wrong with a couple of coloured
lights? I guess if the car is covered with coloured lights that it
may be difficult to see Indicators etc. But as for lights under the car glowing on the ground - what danger is this?
(OK , some think it is wanky but I saw this hot rod last
year with glowing Red underneath and it looked Awesome)

queston was who, who is going to run at the drags on Saturday,
so far we have Rod penrose, Dave Stoker, I think the Vintage car is? , myself and not sure of the others.
We need some more!!
