Intercooler Repositioned!!!!!
Hi all,
Out the back of the car is awkward, front is too far away, Was going, and still am in the process of finalizing the moulds for a 996 turbo side air
intake. Went to revolution race gear, and got a couple of double naca ducts which were going to be cut in the rear side windows, although it would
look too intrusive. (they are now for sale...anyone)
So in an attempt to get something happening..this is what I did today.....I hope the pics work.

In the last picture it is mounted inside the bug, where the back seat would have been, you can see the back window on the top of the pic.
Over 200Kws of rear mounted 4ltr V8 Quad cam action.....

You can actually put the back seat in...it sits on the parcel shelf and is fed from the rear...

When you say it is fed from the rear, do you mean inlet and outlet are through the firewall? What are the legal ramifications of this? Also are the
fans on the bottom pulling or pushing and where do they pull from or push to? How noisey is it?
My reason for all the questions is that I was thinking about this exact thing the other day and was just wondering about how feasable it is, because
as you say it is the perfect spot.
