Anybody know where the lever is to open the rear boot. Must be somewhere so I can have a look at the engine.

If it's the same as the early Type 3's then it will be next to the door lock striker on the passenger's side.

Correct, the boot release lever is just above the passenger door striker. It's a black plastic knob on a metal lever. Push it over to open the boot.

Thanks and it works. This is one cool car for my daughter. Bought from an old lady who had it for 17 years and looked after it extremely well.
