Nah - footy is a shocker this year
Round 12 and we got our first point last week.

Make sense. At least you can adjust without having to open the door because of the tight restrictions.
Recaro's really do make driving a pleasure, especially on long trips. They are worth every cent in my book.

Hi
I agree that Recaros are the best, but I fitted some Honda Prelude seats in my sons bug and they are equal to Recaros, we've done several long trips
with them.

Stoopid question number 43,578 are the Recaros standard in a Proton Satria GTI, just wundrn as you mention that you got them outa one and I have been
looking for new seats for my buggy for ages and having trouble finding ones that fit.
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

That was the worst Valla ever, everyone sat in their cabins or went home, hopefully the weather will be good this year.
1/2 the fun of Valla is walking around talking to people, not much fun in the rain

Well - Marty has had more work done
FINALLY got some $$$ together to have a tidy up
Tony Holden at Silverwater gave my car a tidy up with a bubble or two in cancer and a new coat of 2 Pac in the original Martini Olive
There wasnt a lot of rust - literally a bubble here and there.
This paint is a bitch to match so I had it completely dont on the outside
Had the 2nd LHD wiper holes welded as well as the "L" holes so as I could run just the 1303 L badge

Also had some holes cut in the engine lid so as I could space out the number plate
Just need to get a trim of rubber to put over the hole
Also pretty happy with how the mexican seals have come up
(yeah - forgot to get some other holes welded  )

Also thinking of a wheel change again
The light coloured wheels seem "soft"
Not sure to go with aftermarket 17" fuchs
or to get some more Boxster wheels and paint them in a deep dark olive green to complement the olive yellow

You certainly like making sure that air gets in!
Paint looks good.
On the wheels, I'm biased, I like the Boxsters, but the black Fuchs make it look meaner.

Not a lot - just driving him
Been retired from company car duties a year ago.
Still gets driven to work Fridays and on the weekend.
Just struggled going to meetings on 40 degree days in a suit and an un airconditioned day
Also all this rain lately, and with my car living outside under cover, you still get water in a carb and blocking a jet every now and then
Whatever, finally got rid of the cloth interior.
It just shows the dirt. Having a dog doesnt help. Especially a big dog.
Anyway, got some TMI seat covers and a rear cargo speaker tray.
Still having trouble trying to keep the water off the door cards from the inside.
I have lined it with plastic, but it is still wet in heavy rain.
When they dry, i will pull them and paint them.
Should help a lot
As for your question about the wheels - if you are talking the chrome ones. I diddnt like them. Poor quality chrome, started to rust and wrong
offset.
If you are talking the V Force spiders - yep, nice wheel. Especially for a 15" stock bolt pattern

Barry, I made my door cards out of ply (bit lighter, and more durable I reckon) and primed it well all over before I had it lined.
I also put my plastic waterproofing sheet outside the internal door frame, but inside the window glass - basically, I stuck it to the outside of the
inside skin.
This was also to keep moisture out of the remote central locking and the electric windows.

Not much to add - but I can see the speedo now
Was looking at Seve C's car and he has one of these Head Up read out things
I got the GPS one because I couldnt be arsed mucking round with the sensor
Works a treat!

I thought I would add some pics of the latest mods
Dunno if I like the art direction but I sure love the function
Parking outside all these years, I never realized how much water gets inside the engine compartment and into the dual carbs
I put a glass filter/regulator on to see if the crud was coming from the tank - bit no.
It had to be coming in through the filters.
Anyway, I got this louvre from VVDS and I wish I bought it years ago.
No more crud or water in the carbs. No more pops and farts.
Oh..... and someone added a new window sticke
