Best place for oil pressure warning sensor

Dropped the engine out of my bug and noticed that it has an oil pressure sensor in the normal spot and one on the back of the oil cooler like a type 3.
The normal one is connected.
Which one is better????..........

Hi,
I have used both sensors.....
2 sensors and 2 red lights.....
both go on & off at the same time..... etc

so there is No difference....

Best not to touch the oil cooler one as they can leak...
very easily..... its a different mounting on mine....
its mounted sideways.... thats why its different...

cheers

Lee
