Look what I Bought

Hey lucky me! I bought that cheap 1972 superbug that matara posted about.
I got it for $350.00 and although the body is pretty tatty it runs really well and the box seems very sound which is why i bought it, the gearbox will be going in my splitty as part of the IRS conversion I am doing, and with some 68 Kombi bits that Kombi Kid may have it will finally happen .As I drive my van every day and with the 20,000 odd km's every year including highway trips it does it will be a welcome modification. ..
the run to Nambucca will be very tempting this year. any way i will also keep the engine from the bug but all other parts will be available cheap! cheap! cheap!including nice front seats, sports steering wheel, new tyres and new running boards still in box .....
let me know

I doubt if You would get anything German for $30-00 .... maybe a chrome strip.. Lee:D:D:bounce
Maybe the boxes....
I read where Mexican parts are being sold in the US as they are slightly better Quality.... than Brasillian... closer than Brasil too.... I See they are also selling Mexican bits in the UK... I don't think I have seen any Mexican Parts ....:o

Great buy Silver.

If the superbug seats will go into my standard 71 Baja then I'll pinch them off you.

I'll be in Newcastle this weekend but won't be able to come to Sydney to collect. Will be in Sydney on the Easter weekend though for the National if your not in a hurry. Otherwise I'll organise them to be freighted to Newcastle if you like. Not sure if they will fit the sliders though?
